Basehor-Linwood USD 458 is currently seeking a Print Shop facilitator at the district office.
Reports to: Director of Technology & Assistant Superintendent
Position Summary: The job of Print Shop Facilitator is for the purpose/s of providing a wide variety of complex administrative assistant functions and clerical support; organizing, printing and delivering copy material for district staff; transporting students to and from various district activities as needed and providing support for students and/or staff.

Required:
- Desire and ability to work with students and staff.
- A willingness to cooperate with and follow the directions of the director of technology and assistant superintendent.
- The ability and willingness to communicate with all stakeholders.
- Ability to plan, organize, and see that activities are completed.
- Proficient in organization and sorting activities.
- Excellent written and oral skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to manage the printing schedules, sort documents and organize supplies for district staff.
- Ability to perform record-keeping and clerical functions that include handling correspondence, emails, and phone calls on behalf of the print shop.
- Plan, organize and perform technical work involving the receipt, preparation, design, layout, duplication, bindery and distribution of a variety of printed materials to ensure quality and timely delivery of printed materials.
- Assist district employees and others with the design and production requirements for duplicating jobs (e.g. recommend paper, review layout, evaluate costs, etc.) for the purpose of meeting requester’s needs in the most cost effective and viable manner.
- Ability to maintain and organize files, records, and documents.
- Ability to safely drive students to and from school events utilizing a district vehicle.
- Ability to work to implement the vision and mission of the district.
- Ability to work with technology and computer systems.
- Ability to model commitment and dedication to work.
- Ability to work independently and without supervision, and complete work in an efficient manner.
General Responsibilities:

- Operates standard office equipment using pertinent software applications, prepares and maintains accurate records, and plans and manages projects.

- Supports the value of education.
- Supports the mission and vision of USD #458.
- Keeps abreast of new information, best practices, innovative ideas, and techniques.
- Adheres to all district health and safety policies, including all precautions of the Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology & Assistant Superintendent, or other Administrative Staff.
Physical Requirements: Physical and emotional ability and dexterity to perform required work and move about as needed in the work environment. Regular attendance and/or physical presence at the job is required.
- Must have physical stamina to maintain job responsibilities.
- Requires occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and turning.
- Candidates must be able to routinely lift 40 lb+ boxes for use on a daily basis.
