Basehor-Linwood High School hosts the elementary Social Emotional Resource (SER) classroom. The program is designed to have a low student-teacher/para ratio. Students accessing the SER program focus on social emotional learning while also working on academic demands. A well qualified person for this position has excellent communication skills, is relationship focused, reliable and consistent. Pay for this position is $15.00 for qualified applicants. 

The person in this position works under the direct supervision of a teacher, provides assistance in implementing plans and programs related to the academic or functional skill attainment for students with mental, physical, academic, behavioral and/or emotional learning challenges. Works directly with students, individually or in small groups. This may require lifting or assisting with personal needs. Employee will work 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
